A new robot mop for various hard floors: iLife W400


A new cleaning system mops and scrubs your floors

The mopping robot by iLife is featured with the so-called TidalPower cleaning system. It is a four-step system:

 

  1. Water is sprayed onto the floor to loosen stubborn dirt.
  2. The floor is scrubbed with a rotating fibre ruler.
  3. The dirt-water is sucked in and is stored in the dirt-water tank.
  4. Water residues are wiped away with a scraper.

Applicable on different hard floors

The iLife W400 is suitable for the cleaning of different types of hard floors, such as tiles or stone floors. With its new cleaning system, it drives through your home in a selected pattern. It removes light and stubborn soiling.


Note: As the mopping robot uses a fibre ruler and carries out a wet cleaning, it cannot be operated on oiled or non-sealed floors.

Anti-drop sensors avoid falling down stairs

On the bottom side of the robot there are three sensors recognising stairs or other drops. This means that the iLife W 400 can also be operated near stairs without falling into the depths.

Four cleaning modes: You decide on the cleaning pattern

The robot mop iLife W400 is equipped with four different cleaning modes that can be selected on the top side of the robot or via a remote control. The following cleaning modes are available:

 

Path-mode

This mode is recommended for large rooms because the robot uses a methodical pattern, cleaning path by path.

 

Area-mode

Only the zone in front of the robot is cleaned in methodical rails. The zone that lies behind the robot is not driven on.

 

Spot-mode

The floor mopping robot cleans in a spiral pattern to clean a desired zone with particular care.

 

Edge-mode:

In this mode, the iLife W400 only cleans along edges (walls) and also takes care of cleaning the corners of your home.

iLife W 400 mops smaller and larger rooms

The fresh water tank of the robot mop has a capacity of 0.85 l. With one tank filling, the robot cleans up to 30 m2. If one tank filling is not enough, you can pause the robot and refill the water tank. Afterwards, the iLife W400 will continue the cleaning task where it has been interrupted.


The robot is equipped with two water tanks:

Fresh water tank: 0.85 l
Dirt-water tank: 0.90 l

The iLife W 400 is safe all-around and easy to use


Anti-collision sensors avoid a collision with obstacles

The robot mop by iLife is equipped with several anti-collision sensors. With it, the robot detects obstacles in its way (such as furniture). Therefore, it is capable of changing the direction to avoid a collision.

 

The operation of the iLife 400 is easy as pie

With only three buttons on the top side of the robot, its operation is particularly easy. Even the filling and emptying of the water tanks is carried out in only a few movements.

Manual charging through a charging station

A charging station is included in the scope of delivery. It is placed in a dry place and connected to the charging cable. For charging, the iLife W 400 has to be put on the charging station manually.

What does the guarantee cover?

The 5-year guarantee covers devices bought from us when accompanied by a receipt or another document that proves the validity of the 5-year guarantee. The 5-year guarantee ends five years after the device was purchased. The guarantee is valid for guarantee claims that occur in United Kingdom.

 

A guarantee claim is valid when the device purchased by you is damaged or destroyed, as a result of the following causes:

  • construction fault, calculation error, casting defect, material defect and production fault

  • direct effects of electrical energy as a result of a ground fault, short circuit, excessive increase in the current strength, electrical arc-over, formation of electrical arcs, insulation faults, excess voltage and the like.


Excluded from the guarantee is damage caused by external influences, such as a bounce flash in the circuit or fire damage. Such externally induced damages can be covered under certain circumstances by your household insurance and may include:

  • measuring, controlling and safety device failures

  • excessive pressure other than explosions

  • implosion and other effects of insufficient pressure

  • lack of water in steam boiler and other apparatus

  • bursts due to centrifugal force

 

Within the framework of the extended guarantee, operating errors are covered insofar as they impair the functionality of the product and do not represent a contravention of the operating instructions. For such cases we shall charge an excess of 84 GBP including VAT.

 

What is NOT covered by the guarantee?

  • Wear and tear, and damage to wearing parts and batteries (the battery is only covered by the manufacturer's guarantee)

  • Damage that does not impair the technical function of the device, e.g. scratches and scuffs.

  • Damage or destruction due to intentional or grossly negligent acts or omissions on the part of the purchaser or other users of the device.

  • Damage or destruction caused by improper installation/assembly, by improper repairs/adjustments, by improper, non-intended or unusual use or cleaning of the device – especially when the manufacturer’s instructions are not followed – and by operating errors.

     

What service do we provide in valid guarantee cases?

  1. When repair is technically and objectively possible and the costs of repair do not exceed the current value of the device (see clause 3), the device shall be repaired professionally and the costs incurred in the repair reimbursed by the guarantee.

  2. Should repair be technically or objectively impossible or uneconomical (total write-off), you shall receive a replacement device of the same kind and quality up to the amount of the current value (see clause 3). The damaged or destroyed device is returned to us and becomes our property.

  3. The current value of your device is 50% of the purchase price in the 3rd year after conclusion of purchase contract, 40% in the 4th year and 30% in the 5th year of the purchase price as stated in the receipt.

 

Is your device broken?

Just ask us for help. We will support you with the repair request.

  1. In the matters of a needed repair, a skilled and trained team in service and repair department from us or from the manufacturer itself, will gladly be there for you with advice and act to the side.

  2. Please take care of packing the robot carefully to avoid damage.

  3. Enclose a detailed description of the fault as well as the invoice together with the 5-year guarantee certificate.

  4. The robot must be fully postage paid at and sent to the mentioned address.

  5. Transport costs are paid by you and will not be refunded. We recommend that you keep the postage receipt.
